LOWELL MAN CLAIMS $1 MILLION SIZZLIN 7S PRIZE

Joseph Arroyo of Lowell today claimed the 1st $1 million prize in the Mass. Lottery’s newest $5 instant game -- Sizzlin 7’s.

Arroyo, who works as an artificial turf installer, selected the cash option on the top prize and received a one-time, lump sum payment of $650,000 (minus taxes). He plans to buy a house one day with the winnings.

Arroyo purchased the winning Sizzlin 7’s ticket at Owen & Ollie’s Restaurant located at 91 Mill Street in Dracut. The store will receive a $10,000 commission on the sale.
