LOTTERY LOOKING FOR LATAH COUNTY POWERBALL WINNER
September 29, 2011
Over fifty days have passed since an Idaho Lottery winning Powerball ticket worth $200,000 was sold in and around the area of Latah County for the August 6, 2011 draw. The holder of the ticket remains a mystery as no one has officially come forward to claim it. The holder of the ticket from this draw has until Friday, February 3, 2012 to claim their prize. The winning numbers from the August 6, 2011 draw were 25, 30, 54, 57, and 59. Although, the Powerball number was 6, this winning ticket did not match that number.
“This is a unique ticket in that it matched the first five numbers, but not the Powerball itself,” explained Jeff Anderson, Idaho Lottery Director. “Too often we’ve seen players think their ticket is not a winner because it did not match the Powerball number.”
