LOTTERY LAUNCHES FIRST-EVER WHEEL OF FORTUNE SCRATCH GAME

Minnesota players will have an opportunity to win one of four trips to Hollywood for the chance to play a Lottery-only edition of Wheel of Fortune with Pat Sajak and Vanna White through the first-ever Wheel of Fortune scratch game and second-chance promotion.
Launching Aug. 23, the $5 Wheel of Fortune scratch game offers instant cash prizes up to $100,000. Players who don’t win instantly can enter non-winning tickets online through the Lottery’s Player’s Club (www.luckymn.com) or by mail for the chance to win one of four trips to Hollywood. Entries not selected for the Hollywood trips will be eligible to win up to $1 million in a multi-state bonus drawing held on Sept. 12, 2012.
“We are very excited to offer our players these once-in-a-lifetime trip packages,” explained Jenny Canfield, the Lottery’s Acting Director. “Viewers have been enjoying the Wheel of Fortune television game show for decades. We think that this is a great game to help us continue to grow Lottery sales and ultimately increase profits for the state.”
