Just in time for the late holiday season shoppers, the Idaho Lottery is offering a two-day special for players on Tuesday and Wednesday this week only. All day on Tuesday and Wednesday, December 20 - 21, 2011 players who purchase a $10 Idaho $1,000,000 Raffle ticket will receive a free Powerball ticket and a have chance at Wednesday night’s $104 million jackpot.
“This is a special offer that highlights two of our more popular games and is a way to say thank you to our players for a great year,” said Idaho Lottery Director, Jeff Anderson. “The Idaho $1,000,000 Raffle will create the Lottery’s 31st million dollar winning ticket since we began operations in 1989.”
Powerball is Idaho’s most popular game and the Idaho $1,000,000 Raffle is the season’s most popular Lottery game. Time, though, is running out for players who want to buy a ticket for their chance at winning one million dollars. The Idaho $1,000,000 Raffle draw is scheduled for December 30, 2011 – only 12 days away.
“We have heard many people are buying raffle tickets to give as stocking stuffers,” added Anderson. “If you are giving the ticket as a gift, it’s a good idea to write the person’s name on the back of the ticket.”
