LAURENS COUNTY MAN TO ENJOY WINTER HOLIDAYS WITH $50K

A 23-year-old Laurens County man has gained a substantial prize from the Georgia Lottery. William Parks of Rentz won a $50,000 top prize playing the popular instant game Jumbo Bucks Classic.
“I want to pay off my car and pay off a couple of bills,” he said.
Cartons & Cases, 1823 Rice Ave. in Dublin, sold the winning ticket.
“I was kind of shocked when I scratched it in the store,” he explained.
