KENNER RESIDENT CLAIMS $325,000 LOTTO JACKPOT

Jorge Pesantes of Kenner claimed the sole jackpot-winning ticket worth $325,000 from the July 30 Lotto drawing by the Louisiana Lottery.
Pesantes purchased his winning ticket from Super D Food Mart on West Esplanade Avenue in Kenner. The retailer will receive a one-time bonus of $3,250 or one percent of the jackpot prize, for selling Pesantes his winning ticket.
Pesantes, age 70, received $227,502 after state and federal taxes were withheld.
The winning numbers for the July 30 Lotto drawing were 07-11-22-24-28-36.
