After winning $30,000 from the Hoosier Lottery, an Indianapolis man has confirmed what most people have always suspected. According to Hoosier Lottery Bonus Cash second chance winner, Mark Volz, “winning doesn’t stink.”
Volz won $30,000 when his non-winning Money Money Money Scratch-off ticket was drawn in the grand prize drawing November 30 at Hoosier Lottery Headquarters.
The IU Medical Center lab technician claimed his prize December 1. Although he wasted no time claiming his cash, he plans to take it slow and “put most of it in the bank for now.”
“Eventually, I may splurge a little on a few things,” said Volz.
One thing about winning that doesn’t stink, one of the potential splurges Volz is considering, is a down payment on a fishing cabin for him and his Beagle Fred.
