January 6, 2012
The fifth of six $1 million top prizes in the Texas Lottery Black-Series III-Limited Edition scratch-off game was claimed by Dwayne Shelton of Houston today. The First Stop, 6154 Bellfort St. in Houston, sold the ticket, making the store eligible for a $10,000 retailer bonus.
One prize of $1 million and five prizes of $10,000 each remain unclaimed in the Texas Lottery Black-Series III-Limited Edition. Overall odds of winning any prize in the game are one in 3.32, including break-even prizes. A new version of the game, Texas Lottery Black-Series IV-Limited Edition, was introduced yesterday and has nine $1 million top prizes currently unclaimed.
