HELENA MAN CLAIMS $10,000 SCRATCH TOP PRIZE

Philip Zarek of Helena on Tuesday claimed a $10,000 top prize for the “Black & Chrome Bingo” Scratch game with a ticket from Canyon Ferry Mini Basket of East Helena, 3012 Canyon Ferry Dr.
Philip, a longtime Helena resident, buys the same amount of Scratch tickets at the beginning of each month and plays them gradually across the following weeks. He enjoys bingo and crossword style games the best — especially now! His winning “Black & Chrome Bingo” ticket was purchased Nov. 2 and finally scratched off Monday.
Philip said he will pay bills with his winnings and possibly go on a trip.
“I’ve been known to travel,” he said.
“Black & Chrome Bingo” debuted July 18 with prizes up to $10,000.
