HAPPY HOLIDAYS! IDAHO FALLS SELLS $200,000 POWERBALL WINNER
December 18, 2011
Luck has happened again in eastern Idaho. Someone who bought an Idaho Lottery Powerball ticket for last night’s draw now has an early holiday present worth $200,000. The Idaho Lottery has confirmed that one ticket sold for last night’s Powerball draw matched the first five numbers, but not the Powerball number itself. The winning ticket was sold at an Idaho Lottery retail location in Idaho Falls. The winning numbers from last night’s Powerball draw were 13, 28, 49, 51, 59, and the Powerball was 33.
“Eastern Idaho continues to be a lucky place for Powerball players,” said Jeff Anderson, Idaho Lottery Director. “We are encouraging everyone who played Powerball for last night’s draw to check their tickets carefully for winners. Too often we see players not match the Powerball and think they do not have a winning ticket. In this case, the ticket matched all five of the first numbers and is worth $200,000.”
