HANCOCK COUNTY DRYWALL HANGER HITS $100,000
January 4, 2012
Oscar Sturgill of Greenfield says not much will change after hitting $100,000 on a Hoosier Lottery Scratch-off. The hardworking father of two and grandfather of three plans to keep his nose to the grindstone and “have it a little easier“ for a while.
Sturgill won a $100,000 top-prize on a $100,000 Bonanza Scratch-off just before the holidays. He stopped for a pop at HGB Petroleum at 9605 Pendleton Pike in Indianapolis Dec. 19 when he purchased a ticket that paid-off big. While he was thrilled with his luck, he didn’t let it phase him and went straight back to work to finish his workday.
Sturgill and his wife of 34 years, Jennifer, claimed his winnings the next day, Dec. 20, at Hoosier Lottery Headquarters in Indianapolis. The couple said they were looking forward to a great holiday with their family.
