GRESHAM RESIDENT CLAIMS $1,000,000 THANKSGIVING RAFFLE PRIZE

Tom Struzan of Gresham now knows the answer to that age-old question, “How long does it take to become a millionaire?” In Struzan’s case, it took just a little over 31 hours.
Struzan presented his winning $1 million ticket from the November 22, Thanksgiving Raffle at the Lottery office in Salem on Nov. 23, approximately 31 hours and 12 minutes after the 8:30 a.m. drawing. After state and federal taxes were withheld, Struzan received a prize check in the amount of $670,003.50. The winning ticket was purchased at the Hubbard 76 Station. The winning ticket number was 233248.
