FATE LEADS TO A $16,668 WIN

A woman from Fall River, MA, won $16,668 playing the Daily Numbers on Wednesday after seeing the numbers 2 and 4 over and over on license plates and signs. She took it as a hint from fate that she should play the Daily Numbers using those numbers. She bought one ticket with three separate wagers using the number combination 2 2 4 4 and the number came up in that exact order for Wednesday night's drawing. The excited winner said she will be using the money to pay bills. Stateline Tobacco at 29 Stafford Rd., Tiverton, sold the winning ticket.
