FAMILY WINS FANTASY 5 PRIZE WORTH OVER $234K

One California family is kicking 2012 off in a big way. The group of four, which includes three sisters and their mother, walked into the Lottery’s Inland Empire District Office this afternoon to claim their Fantasy 5 top prize of $234,698.
According to one of the sisters, Sandi M., they have been playing the same Fantasy 5 numbers for five years. The numbers were chosen by her mother who selected the numbers using birth dates from within the family.
The winning ticket was sold at the 7-Eleven located at 1365 East Citrus Avenue in Redlands (San Bernardino County). The ticket matched all five numbers – 18, 14, 19, 8 and 22.
