ELKHART WOMAN SAYS WINNING IS SURREAL

The numbers “12” and “15” may be an Elkhart woman’s new lucky numbers. At 12:15 on 12/15 (December 15) Laura Culveyhouse walked into 7-Eleven and purchased a winning $100,000 Bonanza Scratch-off worth $100,000.
“It’s unbelievable,” said Culveyhouse. “It’s surreal.”
Culveyhouse works in manufacturing as a corporate credit manager. She took a day off work to claim her winnings Friday at Hoosier Lottery Headquarters in Indianapolis. She made a day of it with her parents and brother who all made the three hour trip to Indy in a Limousine.
Culveyhouse purchased her winning ticket at 7-Eleven at 25960 County Road 20 in Elkhart.
The first thing Culveyhouse planned to do is go out and celebrate with friends. She also plans to buy a car for her 21-year-old son.
