DILLON FAMILY CLAIMS $1,000 SCRATCH PRIZE

Wednesday Thomas Trang of Dillon loaded up his family and headed to Helena to claim his $1,000 prize from “Quarter Million Cash.” Trang purchased his ticket at Safeway in Dillon.
An avid “Quarter Million Cash” player, Trang has won various small prizes before, but this was his first big win. He told Lottery officials, “I have won occasionally, always enough to break even. This made it worth it, but I still want to win that top prize.”
The winnings came at a nice time for Trang and his family. The current plan is to pay some bills with the money and replenish the money spent on Christmas presents. It was the perfect addition to the holiday season for them.
