9,132 South Dakota players are splitting a total of $31,504 in winnings after the December 6-7, 2011 drawings of the state's five lotto games.
Powerball led the way, doling out a total of $13,277 in prizes to 2,276 lucky people. Hot Lotto handed out $6,681 to 1,121 South Dakota players. There were 2,778 Wild Card 2 winners, sharing in a total of $3,994 in winnings. Mega Millions paid out a total of $3,965 to 452 individuals. And there were 2,505 Dakota Cash winners, all getting a piece of $3,587 in prize money.
