Darcy Nelson received a $250,000 EXTRA surprise! The Daysland resident knew his numbers were on the money when he checked them on his computer after the July 9th draw. He had won the game’s Top Prize.
“I thought, ‘Holy cow, no way!’” said Darcy. “I was pretty happy.”
Later he checked his numbers twice on the Ticket Checker and with the retailer to confirm his winnings.
Darcy purchased his LOTTO 6/49 ticket with EXTRA “ENTERED” at Tags Food and Gas, located at 3711 Caxton St in Whitecourt.
Darcy said he plans to use his winnings to pay some bills, take his family on a trip to either
Florida or Mexico and retire a little bit sooner.
