DALLAS MAN WINS $100,000 SCRATCH TICKET TOP PRIZE

Robert Carter of Dallas on December 14, 2011 claimed his $100,000 top prize from the South Dakota Gold scratch game at the Pierre Lottery office. Carter purchased the $10 winning scratch ticket at Jono's in Gregory several months ago but only scratched it off yesterday. He says at first he and his wife couldn't believe they were winners; neither did their children, when the couple finally broke the news. Carter says he will use some of his winnings to pay bills. The odds of winning the $100,000 top prize playing South Dakota Gold are 1:91,605.
