COLLINSVILLE WOMAN WINS $100,000 IN MONEY ROLL SCRATCHER
January 25, 2012
Alice Young, a retiree from Collinsville, picked up four Virginia Lottery Scratchers on January 16. She bought them at Steve’s Ezee In at 2575 Virginia Avenue in Collinsville. She then returned home to scratch them.

It was there that she discovered she had won $100,000. Young told Lottery officials, “I just can’t believe it. This can’t be true!” She said the great surprise made her feel like she might have a heart attack.

Ms. Young will celebrate her 77th birthday next month. Her plans for the money include possibly buying a house.
