December 14, 2011
On the campus of Clemson University, a cleaning lady scratched a lottery ticket and won $100,000.
She slipped the ticket in her back pocket and went about her day.
“I buttoned the pocket closed,” she added.
The winner from South Georgia plans to use her winnings to hire someone to take care of things around her house for a change.
As of this release, two top prizes of $100,000 remain in the $5 Cold Hard Cash game.
The odds of winning $100,000 are 1 in 600,000.
Quick Trip #1107 in Anderson received a commission of $1,000 for selling the claimed ticket.
