CLEARWATER MAN COLLECTS $1 MILLION TOP PRIZE IN MONOPOLY SCRATCH-OFF GAME

The Florida Lottery announced that Jonathan Dick, 24, of Clearwater, claimed a $1 million top prize in the $1,000,000 MONOPOLY Scratch-Off game at Florida Lottery headquarters in Tallahassee. He chose the one-time, lump-sum payment for his winnings in the amount of $700,000. He purchased his winning Scratch-Off ticket at Hess Express, located at 2577 Harn Boulevard in Clearwater.
The $10 Scratch-Off game, $1,000,000 MONOPOLY, launched on July 5, 2011, and offers more than $89 million in prizes, including 10 top prizes of $1 million and more than 3.6 million prizes ranging from $10 to $10,000. There are three $1 million top prizes remaining. The overall odds of winning are one in 3.33.
