BROWARD COUNTY MAN CLAIMS $550,000 MEGA MONEY JACKPOT

The Florida Lottery announced that Lawton Kelly Jr., of Pembroke Pines, claimed the November 8 MEGA MONEY jackpot of $550,000 at Florida Lottery headquarters. Mr. Kelly chose the one-time, lump-sum payment option for his winnings, in the amount of $440,794.23.
Chevron Taft, located at 1601 N. University Drive in Pembroke Pines, received a bonus commission of $1,000 for selling the jackpot-winning MEGA MONEY Quick Pick ticket. This ticket marks the 34th jackpot-winning MEGA MONEY ticket purchased in Broward County, since the MEGA MONEY game was changed in January 2004.
