January 23, 2012
A Blythewood man’s day started with a $100 lottery win and things only got better from there.
On his way home from work, he stopped at the Sharpe Shoppe #4 in Blythewood to cash in his $100 winning ticket and ending up buying another ticket, this one worth $200,000.
“I thought I was having a heart attack,” said the winner when the first number he scratched revealed a $200,000 prize.
“I was going to surprise my wife by putting the ticket under her pillow, but I couldn’t wait to tell her,” he said.
They decided the kids didn’t need to know about the money.
The couple is paying off their mortgage.
“This is such a blessing,” the winner said.
As of this release, three top prizes of $200,000 remains in the $10 Winner Green game.
