BIG SANDY WOMAN CLAIMS SECOND CHANCE DRAWING PRIZE

Della Dalaney of Big Sandy has claimed the Second Chance drawing prize for the “Red White & Blue” Scratch game with a ticket from the Grocery Store, 135 Johannes Ave., Big Sandy.
The Second Chance prize was a trip for two to Las Vegas. The travel package included airfare, transportation, hotel accommodations, show tickets and spending cash. Della chose to receive the prize’s cash value of $4,500 in lieu of the trip.
Della entered 12 non-winning “Red White & Blue” tickets into the Montana Lottery Player’s Club to be eligible for the drawing. The total number of entries was 8,818. The Lottery conducted the drawing at its Helena headquarters Dec. 1.
“I almost didn’t enter because I’ve never won a Second Chance,” she said. “But my friend was entering and said I should too, so I gathered up my tickets.”
Della plans to use her winnings to repair her roof, she said.
