AS MEGA MILLIONS ROLLS TO $15 MILLION MONMOUTH COUNTY SELLS ONE THIRD-TIER WINNING TICKET

Carole Hedinger, Executive Director of the New Jersey Lottery, today announced that it is a Happy New Year for one lucky New Jersey Lottery player who has won the Mega Millions third prize of $10,000 for the Friday, December 30 drawing. This third prize ticket was purchased with the Megaplier option, making it worth $40,000!
The Monmouth County winning ticket was purchased at 6-12 Convenience Store, located at 1 South Main Street in Marlboro. “Congratulations to the lucky winner who purchased the winning ticket and to the retailer that sold it,” said Hedinger. “For selling this $40,000 winner, 6-12 Convenience Store has become one of the Lottery's ‘lucky locations' overnight.”
In addition to the Garden State 's one third prize winner, 30,127 other Jersey players took home $118,965 in prizes ranging from $2 to $150, according to Hedinger.
The winning numbers for the Friday, December 30 drawing were: 04, 24, 45, 46, and 52 and the Gold Mega Ball number was 01. The Megaplier number was 04 .
