$400K WIN A BIG HOLIDAY BOOST FOR WINNER IN TUCKER

The holiday season is in full swing for one lucky Georgia Lottery winner. Edison Vargas Cruz won a $400,000 top prize playing the instant game 20X The Money.
“I don’t play a lot, but I saw a couple of guys buy tickets. They won a lot of money, so I started to buy some,” Cruz said. “I bought the ticket after work, and at first I thought I’d won $40.”
To his surprise, Cruz walked away with a $400,000 lottery win.
Shell Food Mart, 3155 Pleasantdale Road in Tucker, sold the winning ticket.
Cruz, a resident of Knoxville, Tenn., was working construction in Atlanta when he purchased the ticket.
He plans to spend the holidays in Puerto Rico with his family.
“I’m going to buy something for my sister and my niece,” exclaimed Cruz, 33. “I’m going to buy myself a new car.”
