$200,000 POWERBALL TICKET SOLD IN NEWPORT!

Although no one hit the $124 million Powerball jackpot in Wednesday night’s drawing, there was a ticket worth $200,000 sold in Kentucky. The $200,000 ticket matched all five numbers but not the Powerball in the October 19 th drawing.
The winning numbers were: 16 – 26 – 35 – 52 – 58 and the Powerball was 2. The Power Play number was 5.
Kentucky Lottery Corporation officials encourage the ticket holder(s) to sign the back of their ticket immediately. The winner has 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prize.
The winning ticket was sold at Good Spirits Wine & Tobacco in Newport. The retailer will receive $2,000 for selling the winning ticket.
Saturday’s Powerball jackpot is an estimated $148 million with a cash option amount of $90.4 million.
