$40,000 POWERBALL POWERPLAY WINNER IN RHODE ISLAND
July 16, 2012
Saturday night’s PowerBall drawing yielded a $40,000 winning ticket sold in Rhode Island.  The ticket matched four numbers and the PowerBall number.  The standard payout for this type of win is $10,000.  However, the winner added the Power Play feature for an extra dollar which increased the prize to $40,000.

Colbea Enterprises at 1325 Diamond Hill Rd., Woonsocket, sold the winning ticket.  The $40,000 prize has yet to be claimed.
