$10,000 POWERBALL WINNER IN RHODE ISLAND

The PowerBall jackpot jumped to $212 million, after no one matched all five numbers and the PowerBall number in Saturday night's drawing.
One Rhode Island Lottery ticket did win $10,000 in Saturday night's draw. The ticket matched four numbers and the PowerBall number winning the standard payout of $10,000. The winner did not purchase the Power Play feature for an additional dollar on the wager. If the player had opted for Power Play, the $10,000 prize would have been increased to $40,000.
The winning ticket was purchased from Stop & Shop at 275 Warwick Ave., Cranston. The $10,000 prize has yet to be claimed.
